La Ronge Trip
Spend the weekend capturing the colors of La Ronge, Stanley Mission, the Church Hill River and all its history.
Which will include information of pricing, transportation, accommodations, various tours and other details. Space is limited, open to all Photo Clubs and Photographers.
The La Ronge trip scheduled for September 15-17, 2023 was cancelled due to the smoke conditions caused by the fires in northern Saskatchewan and Alberta. The trip may be rescheduled for 2024 or 2025.
PRPA is organizing a weekend trip to Stanley Mission Sept 15-17, 2023. This weekend will be a time to capture the beauty of the fall colors, the churches and the landscapes of northern Saskatchewan.
We will have all the details at the AGM June 3 for booking the trip, travel, accommodation, restaurants, and the tour itinerary.
The total cost is estimated at about $750 plus meals. This is based on
approx. $75-100 / vehicle for travel from Regina or Saskatoon (rides available). Shared rides from those 2 cities. with 3-4 people in each vehicle
2 nights at $130 + tax for motels
$75 for the boat ride to Nistowiak Falls and Stanley Mission
To reserve your spot we ask you to pay the $75 boat fare by June 30 or as soon as possible after that date.
We will supply you with accommodation contact numbers when you reserve your spot. You are responsible to arrange for your own accommodations, including room sharing.
